About

Sarah Rupp is interested in all forms of self expression. Her work is figurative and female, and she explores the ways that women are seen, portrayed, and objectified both contemporarily and historically.

Sarah considers her visual and performative work an extension of herself, striving to dig deeper and make new discoveries. She is a recent graduate of the William Esper Studio’s Two Year Meisner Training Program.

Sarah would describe herself as a fitness fanatic, a travel aficionado, and a pseudo art critic. She can often be found dancing around her painting studio, running the Williamsburg Bridge, or reading from her extensive collection of self-help books.

One of Sarah’s dream acting roles would be to play a drummer in a rock band!
